Engineered in Germany since 1949, König & Meyer stands are made to highest design, material and production standards. The newest models of K&M mic stands feature an ergonomically engineered one-hand clutch grip, for optimal comfort and security, with a standard or the new 5-stand stackable cast base. In speaker stands, K&M has also introduced a patented Ring-Lock mandrel mounting feature. Twisting the grip beneath the speaker mount expands the mandrel which firmly grips the interior of the stand cup. For its professional stands, K&M employs custom Swiss steel and aluminum tubing, noted for strength and precision. Tube surfaces are polished and cleaned at every stage of production to reduce or eliminate surface scarring during elevation or lowering. Other parts are designed and produced in-house to ensure best quality, fit and long-term durability. K&M has earned ISO 9001 certification for quality control, as well as ISO14000 certification for its environmentally responsible production.
