The Fretboard Logic Guitar Method currently has 5 parts: 3 Volumes and 2 Videos. The material in the books differs fundamentally from the material in the videos. In short, the videos demonstrate the applications of the foundational ideas established in the books. Volume I and II represent the first half of the method - the constants - those things which will not change regardless of the choices a player makes in terms of the direction of their musical efforts. They will learn the necessary requirements of both the guitar and music, with respect to the fretboard patterns resulting from the guitar's tuning, and the primary tone groups (chords, scales and arpeggios) used in all types of music. Our system eliminates the rote memorization and guesswork required in all other previous methods, and promotes comprehension in all aspects of playing. Volume III and the videos are the second half of the method - the variables - where other elements are combined and applied in specific ways to produce music with both interest and a clearly defined style. Our videos use both lead playing and instrumentals to demonstrate the ideas in Volume I and II from both the analytical and creative perspective.
